What is wellness? According to Merriam-Webster, it’s “the quality or state of being in good health especially as an actively sought goal”. It means living a lifestyle where you proactively work and make conscious decisions to be as healthy as possible. But what constitutes a healthy person? A fit body? A consistent and nutritious diet? Emotional stability? Moderation of indulgence? A clear, quick thinking brain? I figure it’s all of the above and then some. The idea of total wellness encompasses physical, mental, and philosophical/spiritual health. It’s a trivium, whereby the meeting of the three paths is a life lived well. A person who is well. A person who is thriving, striving, and excelling at being the best they can be through a constant process of self-improvement.
Welcome to Wellness Trivium, a site where I am seeking to become my best self and spread the valuable information that’s out there so you can do the same. I’ll be sharing tips, topics, methods, and articles that will help expand your knowledge of fitness and nutrition, self-education, longevity tactics, and philosophical expansion and discovery. By improving our physical, mental, and philosophical states, we will be well on our way to wellness. To a life well lived. To a life of accomplishment, meaning, and love. Join me as I seek my own improvement and see what you may learn along the way too. Take care and let’s kick some ass!
